Anuar wie?
The Utrecht stand-up comedian Anuar is the creator of the format The Ramadan Conference . With all his talents he is a versatile artist. When he won the Cameretten Festival in 2004, many doors opened for him. In no time he was in the theater with his own shows. With a lot of recognisability, hilarity and a mix of nostalgia and current events, he stole the hearts of his audience. In addition to being a stand-up comedian, Anuar is also a writer for various television programs and author of the books: ‘In search of my foreskin’ (2015), ‘It must be your brother’ (2019) and ‘You Praat Veel Maar Zegt Nothing’ ( 2021). You may even know Anuar as the first comedian from the Netherlands to make the front page of the renowned American newspaper The New York Times.
